Smart Politics will be blogging live from 12:00-1:30 pm at an event sponsored by the Center for the Study of Politics and Governance (CSPG) at the Humphrey Institute on Monday, April 2nd. The event will feature Minnesota DFL Senator Amy Klobuchar, who will speak on global warming and renewable energy.

This is the first in a series of the CSPG sponsored “Connecting with Government” events, in which Minnesota’s elected officials come to the Humphrey Institute to speak on a substantive issue of their choice. An event with GOP Senator Norm Coleman is expected soon. Other confirmed events include: Rep. Betty McCullum (April 9th, noon), Rep. Tim Waltz (April 12, 10AM), and Rep. Jim Ramstad (May 30, noon).

Other prominent Minnesota political bloggers from the left, right, and center will also be participating in the live blog.
